DESIGNS was created by Lynn Reiter Weinberg, an artist and fashion
designer from Marietta,Georgia, in 2000. Lynn had been
a principal designer of SILKSCAPES INC. from its inception in
1978 to its sale in 2000. In 2005 Lynn resumed ownership
of the SILKSCAPES name and continues to manufacture under the
SILKSCAPES and LRW DESIGNS labels. She produces hand painted
silk and cotton clothing, fashion and home accessories. Her work
has been carried by national retailers and catalogs such as Nordstrom,
Jacobson's, Neiman Marcus, Richs, Coldwater Creek, Saks Fifth
Avenue, and Geary's. Her clothing was featured in
the movie, Working Girl and in the television program, Fresh
Prince of Bel-air. |
